We hope you are doing well. We wanted to let you know that we are currently tuning up all nibs. We are about 2 weeks behind schedule but will be able to ship all pens by the second week of November. As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email from Backerkit with your tracking number. Within the next 2 weeks, we will close surveys. If you have not completed it, please do it as soon as possible.

Dear Backers,
We hope you are doing well.
let you know that the production of the Ebonite pens is going well. Everyday we are machining new pens and setting up everything needed for final assembly. The nibs have been ordered and they will be delivered in mid-October. After we receive the nibs, we will need 2 extra weeks for assembly, nib tuning, and quality control. According to this schedule, we will start shipping your pens at the end of October. We expect to ship all order by mid-November.
A few days before shipping, you will receive an email from Backerkit to verify your mailing address. We want to make sure that we have your up-to-date information. Once packages are shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Domestic orders will take 3-5 days to arrive, while international orders might take up to 15 days, depending on customs clearance and the local postal service.
We will keep you updated about our progress.

Dear Backers,
We hope you are doing well.
Yesterday, we emailed surveys so you can select your desired options and input your shipping address. So far, we have received 65% of the responses. If you have not completed your survey, please look for an email from Backerkit and complete it as soon as possible. We need the information to place an order with our suppliers and start production. It is crucial to have surveys completed by Monday, July 18th.

Dear Backers,
We are thrilled with the results of the campaign- thank you so much for your support!
During the next 7 days, Kickstarter will verify all orders and send email reminders to backers whose credit cards failed to process. Afterwards, we will receive the final backers list. We will use this information to send you a survey (two weeks from now) via email where you will be able to select your pens and nibs of your choice. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional pens at Kickstarter price.
We will send another update as soon as the survey email has been sent out. In the meantime, we are making progress in the actual manufacturing of the pens and coordinating with our nibs supplier in Germany.
